Ireland

I took a trip home to Ireland last week. It was lovely being back seeing family and friends. Since moving away I am really able to look at Ireland with fresh eyes and appreciate the things I took for granted even though the country is falling asunder! I felt like a bit of a tourist, I can really see why tourists love Ireland, you just wouldn't get it anywhere else. For example we came across a horse fair while we were staying in Ennistymon, a small town in County Clare. There was no law nor order, cars, people, horses, donkeys, wheeling and dealing all happening along a small narrow street!

The Burren is near by and I thoroughly enjoyed seeing it again and the weather was actually on our side for once! Here is a little taste of County Clare, my favourite county in Ireland...

More Sheena

Another little shoot with Sheena, just some face shots...

Badlands!

Over the long weekend I went on a bike ride to Cheltenham badlands, I never knew this existed in Ontario and it was really cool! Unfortunately everyone else had the same idea, it was packed with people. I am definitely going to organise a photo shoot at this location.

Shantel

Had an amazing session with Shantel this weekend. So many great photographs to choose from. The location was a huge dry cleaning plant with big industrial washing machines and freight elevators, it was awesome! Here are some of my favourites...

Nick & Jackie - Engaged!

We had a wonderful Sunday afternoon of glorious sunshine for my first engagement session. The location was Rouge Valley, Ontario. I look forward to photographing their wedding in two years time which is rumored to be somewhere hot and exotic!

Cockroaches!

Arrived at our venue for today's shoot to discover it had just been sprayed for cockroaches! We were all very disappointed but looking forward to doing it next week instead! You can't plan for everything ; )
